hi,

Has anyone see the blockbuster movie yet. Even here in the remote part of Perak I managed to get to view a DVD.

BTW, the latest government plan to stop piracy is to fine/jail buyers of DVD's. So I didn't buy this one, I just happened to be there when it was on.

I wonder if the planet Pandora has a my2homers type visa scheme. I wouldn't mind flying one of those big birdies. No timetables, no petrol needed, no air tax, no body searches, no need to take off your shoes, remove your belt, and no need to be an acrobat holding up your trousers, a pair of shoes, ticket, boarding pass, passport, and hand luggage.

I saw a report from the USA saying that many Avatar fans were suffering from depression caused comparing the wonderful world of Pandora with the crappy world of Earth.  But being blue with cutie large eyes . . .  hmmmm, not sure on those, but I wouldn't mind a tail. Handy for scratching where arms can't reach. And when using both hands for keyboard surfing you could use the tail for coffee or a smoke (just like Sigourney Weaver).

I bet the tobacco companies paid through the tail for that kind of publicity.   ::)

A really great movie I thought. A dull and predictable storyline, and a tedious unimaginative script just like Titanic (come on James let someone else have a go) but such stunningly holistic CGI. It will probably run on TV on Christmas Day for years to come.
