I spoke too soon, half the snow melted and the other half that melted froze. Today, the pavements and roads are treacherous. Even local hospital asking people not to turn out for their appointment. Several airports had to be closed again. When is this going to end ???? :-\

According to yahoo news, at the weekend when you will have flashfloods, and after that back to snow again  :P  As BB says, it's Global Freezing.

And soon (a bit off topic but it is my topic) you won't be able to afford to drown your sorrows either as they're doubling the price of booze apparently in the UK.

Just a bit of chit-chat, for all those who have moved to the Tropics - have you still got those heavy sweaters, big coat, gloves, scarves, boots?

I can't imagine going anywhere wintry now - though maybe Cameron Highlands, the other highlands gets a little bit chilly?

Keep a few - unless you never ever will come back to visit.  Dot (HMC) is going home for her Parents Golden - and bemoaning having to buy warm clothes.  I suggested that she needed to bring a Red Cross Makan provisions with & reminded her about the booze and petrol prices - just to make her day  ~50~
