Hi Stuurman.
I thought Pisang Goreng is good with cocktails too.
We had Indonesische Rijsttafel for Christmas Dinner. Yummy & spicey!
Have a good Holidays everyone.

Yesterday, Qjumper asked the question "Who is Bob Fleming?"  A perfectly reasonable question, and a good excuse for a little quiz.  (Well, if you can't be silly at this time of year, when can you be silly?)

So - which of these three do you think it is.

a)  http://www.bobfleming.net/commercial/welcome.htm

b)  http://www.bobfleming.co.uk/

c)  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BhNXJGmcqNI

Answers on a postcard please to:

hi,

Surely it's Bob Phlegming, the well-known lozenge sucker from the Fast Show.

Or is it my late friend Mary Whitehouse's (there's a campaign that didn't work) grandson, Paul. I didn't catch the series (Filth: The Mary Whitehouse Story will bring to life the battle for morals that raged in the 1960s, the BBC said) so I'm not too sure.

Answers on a postcard please to:

Bob Fleming
Letsbe Avenue
Nether Wallop

Wallop, a striking name, that's stuck these past centuries. One 16th century English settler in Ireland was Sir Henry Wallop who donated his name to a form of smiting (Elizabethan means of "putting folks straight") using the edge of the sword. Charming.
