Watch Tri Nations Rugby in Penang
« on: July 18, 2007, 08:47:31 AM »
Anyone know a good place to watch the rugby here in Penang, or of its even on TV here???  The australian network TV channel doesnt seem to be available on Astro.  There is no other pay tv service in Penang. In Indonesia and Thailand can get the Aust TV service which usually shows the rugby.    Is it available here... any ideas????

I am not a 'follower' but I sure it will be shown on Astro. Every year in KL there is a big party where all Ozzies and all supporters watch the show. It may be at the Ozzie Hi Com but not sure. If it is, you may need to make a trip down to KL
The trouble with taking the ‘middle of the road’ position is that you get run over from both directions.

Typical of Astro...the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. They provide a pretty crappy service overall. I have certainly seen Rugby on Astro in teh past. In fact I was in a pub/restaurant in KL recently and there were a lot of people watching live rugby!!!!
