Has anyone on the forum had an implant or crowns fitted in KL? Any recommendations or otherwise?

Hi,
We went through this some time ago when I needed some work doing and we ended up with Dentalpro in Bangsar. (Lengkok Abdullah). (less than five minutes walk from Bangsar LRT)
I cannot recommend this guy highly enough. We decided to have lots of work done and changed all our old amalgam fillings to white porcelain fillings , had two crowns and I had root canal work done on one tooth.
The facilities are fantastic and state of the art and the service is wonderful. We used Dr Syed who will put you at ease and fix everything in a stress free environment.   There is a website   www.dentalpro.org    but I don't recommend that as it had a virus last time I used it like many Malaysian websites including the Sri Lankan Embassy in KL !!!
The prices are on the website if you want to risk it but it is about 900 Rm for a crown and the same for a root canal. I can't really remember but fillings were about 45-50 Rm each?? I don't think this is the cheapest place you could find but we checked out several and this was our choice.
There is a phone number  603-2287-3333.
Trust me ...this is the place to go.
Loopi.

BTW..Thermos,
I forgot to mention that if you need transport to the dentist then ask them to send a car for you.
When you come out of Bangsar LRT there is a bus station to your left and if you walk past that , Lengkok Abdullah is the first on your left. Go up, cross the junction and it's about 100 metres on your right.
