I'm wondering if it is possible to open an online brokerage account here... or in Singapore? I don't want anything too fancy...just a ability to buy some ETF's - mostly gold.
Would also be interested in knowing of any other ways of buying and selling gold here.

hi,

As a non-resident, and a tourist, I opened an online brokerage account in Singapore. For Singapore you could try DBS Vickers, or Goh, or Philips.

Hi
I'm thinking about investing in some blue chip Malaysian companies (don't laugh there must be some!). Does anyone know who the big Malaysian brokers are and/or who run online broking services.
Thanks
