OK..here goes.
Firstly it would be a good idea if Motour talked to Immigration and talked to Ministry of Finance. Now from what I am reading here it sounds like there is an Immigration official in Motour now already for the one stop centre and that is fantastic news. So why not a MOF person too? So rather than having to fill in forms and run around on several occasions, it would all be done at the 'ONE STOP' centre. ONE stop, just the one, one only , one!!

So after the initial approval, the time limit should be scrapped or extended to pick up the visa and pay the fees. In PWTC there could be a Doctor for medical checks or one very close by or better still simply by self declaration or checks in your own country.
There is also this nonsense of having medical insurance for the visa...I got that but I am still in Australia and not yet ready to move to My until later this year so that insurance was just a waste of money. The idea of getting checked by a local doctor is also nonsense...I heard of one 'check' that was done over the phone!! Plus , it is now nearly one year since my check and will be another 6 months before my move so I don't quite understand the logic. I was healthy then....well I had a pulse but it wasn't checked...but since then I have developed all kinds of diseases but that 's OK because I used to have a pulse???

How about some options on insurance provided with contacts at say AIG, AAM and so on. All part of the service which is at no cost to Motour. I'm sure car dealers and insurance agents would leave access to
MM2H applicants.
When you pick up the visa ,the i-Cad should be ready for you, the approval to buy a tax free motor car could be given
at the same time in the form of a pre-approval letter to wave around in dealerships. (again no time limits or double journeys for approval number one and then approval number two). Thus leaving the dealership to deal with the MOF. This should/could happen on each renewal. Then , armed with this pre-approval...you walk into dealerships with a chance to strike a better deal. For example, Toyota have specials every month on the various models...price reduction for that month, extra inclusions and so on , which you could take advantage of rather than being the dumb tourist that gets what they're given.
So:
1) One stop should be one stop.
2) All benefits and incentives should be ready and waiting for you at visa time.
3) Same deal at each renewal ( plus a boat and a Harley for Fizzy

)
4) No time limits on issuing visa, car purchase, etc.
Many applicants are overseas at time of application and restricted to visiting My by holidays and time off work etc.
I am currently faced with the fact that MOF may not accept certified copies of documents for car approval. Or at least not certified in Australia. So I'll just pop back to My again then armed with my documents. I could of course post the originals but Malaysia Post lost one packet and I have heard of another occasion where docos have gone missing.....and they're very difficult to replace!!

I can't keep popping back...it's expensive.
OK..that's my rant for this morning..I hope it creates comment and discussion.
By the way...I have written to Cindy Lim about my car problems but as yet haven't received an answer...(three days ago) so if I do get enlightenment I will post here.
Loopi.
Here's the deal on this two way street. I am being assessed on my income which is a minimum of 10,000
Rm per year for 10 years.= 1.2 million Rm that I am going to bring to the country and spend. Plus any house or apartment that I might buy to help prop up the housing sector. In return , AT EACH RENEWAL, the deal is that they give the incentive of a tax free purchase. Then I spend another 1.2 million RM.
