Furnishings
« on: March 03, 2008, 08:14:16 AM »
Hi
I am interested in knowing a little about furnishing options for new apartments. As I am looking at Penag I have in mind the traditional furnishings consistent with the surrounding oceans. There seems to be good information available for traditional Thai furniture and of course there is the beauty of Balinese furniture. Can anyone suggest where one goes to get a good idea of traditional and available Malay furniture.
Thanks

It's over a year ago I saw some in the furniture shop in the grounds of PISA. I haven't been to that place since. If you're in Pg will be worthwhile to check and see if it's still there. They carried some Malay furniture then - real chunky wood pieces like living room, BRm and ornamental pieces.
Another place is the Mega Mall over the mainland side of Pg. Again I haven't visited the mall there for over a year.
Happy hunting  :)
