Living in Malaysia
« on: November 16, 2007, 09:31:11 PM »
Hi All,

I have contributed to this site since its inception and I believe it is one of the best sites around covering the MM2H programme and living in Malaysia. However, I do sometimes wonder why some people actually apply and come to live here. Some of the moans and groans here about the Malaysians and their way of life really are rather absurd. We all apply under our own free will because we want to come here ( for whatever reason) and we should understand that when we do live here we should not only respect the way of life of the locals but not constantly carp on about how it should/could be done differently/better.

As I pointed out under a different heading it is their ball if we don't want to play the game by rules that are set out we should not try to join the game.

Cheers

Brian

Hi Brain,
Couldn't agree more. But whinging is a human trait. Most people like to have a moan, but will concede that nowhere is perfect, least of all the plaace they left....otherwise they would have stayed ;)
The trouble with taking the ‘middle of the road’ position is that you get run over from both directions.
