Interesting extra fee??

Saw my insurance guy last week. He has a client from Iran or Iraq (sorry, I always get these 2 mixed up )
who besides the Rm300,000FD, he had to give the guy in KL an extra Rm300,000! He paid and got his application approved. He asked me if this is some new extra fees for speeding up applications?
I have no idea and wonder if it's some thing new that's not on the website yet....some thing similar to the 1 Mil Rm property and applications approved in 4 weeks?

Well, that's an interesting development. RM300,000 speed money. Some folks just need to get out of some places somewhat fast.

Maybe it's back to "hanky-panky" that the Minister of Tourism was talking about some time ago.

The nice thing about Malaysia is that you can get things done without the payoffs. In many regional countries a payoff is needed for everything.

Besides, their history and all the political upheavals -  'Kommeni', Sadam, Osama and which Ayatulah, who's fighting who confuse me further. So when some one says Iraq, I'll be thinking of Iran and vice versa...
