On behalf of Oriental Stay (MM2H) Sdn Bhd, I am pleased to introduce one of the most affordable and reliable MM2H package to all. Although our company is based in Penang, we handle application from all over Malaysia as well as the world.

In order not to confuse my clients with so many different pricing, we are pleased to only introduce the simple pricing mechanism.

Easy Application - RM3500/family

This option includes consultation, documents collection, submission until the issuance of Conditional Approval Letter. Besides that, we will be assisting all our clients to prepare for their visa endorsement, such as Insurance purchase arrangement, Opening of FD account and Medical Examination.

Easy Visa Endorsement - RM1500

This is the option where our client need us to accompany them to the immigration office for their visa endorsement.

I just confirmed Joy-Stay's costs for comparison with the above post as I had used Joy-Stay's semi-DIY agency services in January 2010 to great success and very reasonable cost.
Even though we were on our own to visit the KL Immigration Office, get the Medical Test done and sort out our own Bank Account and Insurance, it was not difficult.

However, I note the Joy-Stay website has a new announcement viz:

ANNOUNCEMENT ( By Joy-Stay,  June 2010)
Please be informed that from June 2010 onwards all applicants and appointed MM2H agents MUST BE PRESENT at the Immigration Unit, therefore, we can no longer accept applicants who wish to engage us for Plan A services.

This means that her semi-DIY scheme is no longer available, so plan B is the lowest cost (RM3,200 each couple and RM200 for each child).

I suspect this will possibly restrict Agents not from KL, as travel would need to be included in their cost.

I used Joy-Stay's plan B and for RM3200, and I got great value because Yvonne Lim is a Professional.
The visit to KL Immigration office for the MM2H Visa stamping in my Passport was last Monday morning and I met Yvonne at the lobby of Menara Dato Onn and it was all over in 45 minutes. I then took a very nice drive back to Penang.
I stayed at the Best Western Seri Pacific Hotel on Sunday night, which is right next door to the PWTC and it is a very short walk from the hotel to the immigration lobby.

In a previous life I needed an L1 visa for USA, followed up by a Green card. The cost for those was USD 9500 and that was back in 1992 to 1995, so RM3200 to me is very, very inexpensive and I can tell you that the Personal Service I received from Yvonne Lim at Joy-Stay far surpassed the service I received in the good old USA.

I have found DIY is a long stressful road, and Joy-Stay takes all the stress away and allows me to smell the roses and watch the sun set.

I can recommend Joy-Stay as well, as for this new agent may be somebody who has used their service can reply otherwise statements like "the most affordable and reliable MM2H package" sound a bit hollow.

We used Joy-Stay semi DIY option and confirm that she is very good indeed.  Very thorough and keeps bang up-to-date with what is happening on the MM2H programme AND after going through all your paperwork, she will guarantee getting the visa or your money back.  You don't get much better than that.

Davita, that's interesting about the semi DIY option not now being allowed.  Well, doesn't that mean that Amienleo's Easy Application at RM 3500 is not valid?    So you'd have to do the Easy Application plus visa endorsement which comes to grand total of RM 5000 I think.  And Joy-Stay is charging RM 3200 for the same?

If Joy-Stay's information is correct then the Amienleo agent (Oriental Stay) cannot be up to date by offering, at this time, the Easy Application for RM 3,500, in isolation.....
And Joy-Stay's similar package was previously offered for RM1,800.

I understand that all of you have a great experience with Joy-Stay, which I do not plan to compete with. We are from different state and there is nothing to compare, especially for those who are staying in Penang. My clients will be able to meet me as often as possible to discuss whatever questions they have in mind.

While for the package that I rolled out, Easy Application, I will still stay with the pricing that I have proposed. This means that you can still choose the Easy Application plan. I will just make sure that you do not have to pay additional Sen if I am needed in the immigration office. I do not have to quote any further examples or source to support me because I rather prove it by action.

Other agents so far listed, Joy-Stay and MyExpatMM2H, have excluded themselves from contributing comment beyond the initial introduction and I'd prefer to keep it that way. Joy-Stay has 3 other informational posts where clearance was requested prior to posting.

New Application (Step 1) -- MYR 2,100
-  Provide information about MM2H program.
-  Assist and preparing for application.
-  Being a sponsor for your application (Including submitting Personal Bond for accountability of your stay in Malaysia).
-  Submission of all required forms and documentations to the Immigration Department of Malaysia and follow through until the results is known.
-  Upon approval, we will assist you and your family to meet other conditions, such as opening a fixed deposit account, obtaining medical insurance and medical examination (Fees and charges by the respective parties to be borne by the applicant).
- In the case that your application is rejected, we will make an appeal at no charge.

New Application (Step 2) -- MYR 900
-  Assist to make trip reservation, transport and accommodation. (All the fares to be borne by the applicant).
-  Accompany you to the Immigration Department in Kuala Lumpur to obtain your MM2H visa.

Renewal of Visa -- MYR 500
-  Assist in preparing & submitting the documents for renewal
-  Placing our Personal Bond
-  Advising you on the renewal status and inform you on the collection date.

Extension of Visa -- MYR 500
(for successful applicant who did not get full ten years visa because their passport expired before the full ten years)
-  Assist in preparing & submitting the documents for renewal.
-  Advising you on the renewal status and inform you on the collection date

Application to buy a Tax Free Car -- MYR 500
(must be submitted to Ministry of Finance within 1 year from the date of endorsement of MM2H Visa)
-  Assist in preparing and submitting the documents for approval.
-  Submit application for tax exemption letter when the vehicle is ready and collect from the Ministry of Finance.

Application to import a Tax Free Car -- MYR 1500
(must be submitted to Ministry of Finance within 6 months from the date of endorsement of MM2H Visa)
-  Assist in preparing the required documents.
-  Submit application for tax exemption to the Ministry of Finance and collect when approved.
-  Upon obtaining approval from Ministry of Finance, submit a request for Approved Permit (AP) to the Ministry of Trade and Industry for approval and collect when approved.

Joy-Stay has recently posted a new set of plans and charges. I just had a look at it and there's RM1,000 for a single renewal and RM1,200 for a couple.

I went to see Amienlo in Penang yesterday afternoon at 2:00 PM to apply for the tax free car I am entitled to. That was completed within 10 minutes and then I was asked which car I wanted. I said a Toyota Innova, and they arranged for the sales guy to visit me at my place, quote the car, accept the order and now I should get my new car by end November.
This whole transaction was completed by 4:30 PM

Now, that's SERVICE.
