It's worthwhile remembering that there's often a disconnect on mm2h between Immigration and Tourism, and it's Tourism that runs the mm2h.gov.my website.

There's been quite a few posts on this disconnect. They're probably archived by now. So a recap : in 2006 the mm2h scheme was hived off from Immigration and put into the hands of Tourism.

As we all know from experience and our own governments, all government departments wherever work tirelessly in the interests of the whole without the merest thought to personal empires, territory, budget share, allocations, and the seating plan at the cabinet table.   

But I reckon it's Immigration calling the shots. The first response is from Immigration and the last to know is the guy updating MoTour website.

Just got ours done, for renewal, in Bangsar at Klinik Mediviron, 46 Jalan Telawi, (03-2282-9815) from Dr Kaur.  The only question she asked was "So you like it here in Malaysia?"

Cost RM25 each, waiting time: 30 min.
