American Consul Coming to Penang
The U.S. Embassy in Malaysia is pleased to announce that a Consular Officer will be traveling to Penang to provide simple services to American citizens.  During this visit, the officer will be able to provide notary services and take U.S. passport renewal applications back to the Embassy for final processing.  The itinerary is as follows:
Date:                     Friday, March 5, 2010
Location:              Dalat International School, Sandycroft, Tanjong Bungah, Penang, Tel: 04-899-2105
Drop-in hours for American Citizen Services:  9:00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. AND 1.00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Please check our Website (http://usembassymalaysia.org.my) for details related to the service you need -- including required forms, fees and supporting documents -- and make sure you have everything ready.  You will need to bring your own photocopies of original documents (birth certificate or U.S. passport) and please bring exact change.  If you have any questions about this trip, we invite you to email us at klacs@state.gov.
