Jewel of the North - Indian/Western food - really good for either.  They do English brekkies too.  Half way between the Holiday Inn and Golden Sands, just opposite the evening food court.

Enjoy

Thats interesting about the Jewel in the North, I'll try it. I have been here nearly two years and havent had a decent breakfast yet except for the one provided by wife of course.

Even in non-halal places the bacon is some strange product with little connection to a good Walls rasher.

Hi Spider,

Didnt try them for breakfast but did go along for dinner one time, didnt go back. I think that says it all.

I have been totally unsuccessful in getting a decent "Full English", cant even do it at home because you cant get proper bacon here and the sausages cost a fortune and taste like a kangaroos wallet. :(

The next time I get a good feed will be when I touch down on the Dock Road in Liverpool.

In the meantime it's Bee Koh Moi for me

That was posh breakfast (note the forks).

A Full Scottish is bacon, eggs, sausage slice, haggis slice, tattie scone, fruit pudding

A Full Cornish is bacon, hogs pudding, pork sausages, cornish eggs, oat farl and clotted cream

A Full Geordie would be thin gruel followed by bread and marj

Any more contributions

Enough...I keep going back to that photo and drooling anyway. Shades of E&O, Raffles, Galleface, Coliseum etc with heavy cutlery and even heavier plates loaded with colesterol and good quality grease. O0

I get quite a good breakfast at the Boatman in Batu Ferringhi...... real bacon, baked beans, fried tomato, eggs and toast.

Thanks Bob,

I better have a good feed before I leave.  I'll go down to Coogee and have a big breakfast and get as full as a fat man's undies

PatMike... thanks, I'll give it a go
