Fine Woodworking
« on: February 03, 2010, 12:13:27 PM »
Hello Everyone,

This is my first post but have been checking out this site for months.  My wife and I are living in Georgetown awaiting the approval of our MM2H visa.  We've settled in pretty quickly and now yearning to carry on with one of my favorite pastimes which is woodworking.  Are there any woodworkers out there?  Maybe someone who would like to share a small shop space?  While I'm at it, my wife loves to do pottery.  Any ceramic people around?

Thanks for any info,
Kokogyi

hi, kokogyi,

. . . and welcome to the posting side of the site.

I'm a wannabe potter but haven't gotten started yet. Maybe other members, woodworkers and potters, are more inspirational, and will post.

Thanks for responding Scott.  After all this time of looking at this site I feel like I already know you.  Fine job you're doing.

I would enjoy doing woodworking. But I'm still a few years away from coming (back) to Malaysia. I envy your plan.
Let us know how it goes since I will have the same question.

When I worked in KL I was asking if there was a woodshop somewhere you could share or rent with others but I never found out.
